Product Description

Direct Black 19 is a black powder with good water solubility. Its aqueous solution is greenish black. When 10% sulfuric acid is added, the color turns slightly red. When concentrated alkali solution is added, it turns greenish blue. It is slightly soluble in ethanol and acetone. It turns greenish black in concentrated sulfuric acid, and produces a reddish black precipitate after dilution; it turns dark brown in concentrated nitric acid. Direct Black 19 is an organic dye, also known as black L-3RQ. It has good dyeing properties, high color fastness, light resistance and washing resistance.
